Double Dog Dare

"I double dog dare you!" Daniel laughed amused even more when his lover of one month grinned maniacally at him and jumped off the bed.

"Don't double dog dare a colonel of the United States Air Force, Danny!" Jack chuckled as he backed away from Daniel waggling his index finger at him. "'Cause you know we never back down from a challenge!"

Daniel's eyes widened. Jack was really going to do it! He grabbed a pair of briefs and yanked them on. "No, Jack! I was kidding!! Tell me you're not serious!"

Shimmying his hips - which made certain parts jiggle comically, Jack raised his brows in a very 'oh, I'm very serious' way. He was going to do it, and do it naked too!

"Jack-"

One more step back and Jack would be there.

"Jack, I was joking," Daniel tried one last time. It was no good.

Turning, Jack literally hopped to the window, grabbed the frame and shouted to anyone that was listening, "I love Daniel Jackson! You hear that, world? I love Daniel!!!"

Of course no one did hear as their secluded little beach house was miles away from anywhere, but the fact that Jack would risk, well, an awful lot by doing that warmed Daniel right to his core. He leaned against the door frame and gazed fondly at his best friend, lover and soul mate.

"You're crazy, Jack," Daniel said softly smiling.

Jack turned to face him, gently took his face in his palms and kissed him slowly. "Crazy in love with you," he whispered before taking his mouth once more. Daniel melted into the kiss, and started walking backwards, bringing Jack along with him until they reached the bed again.

"I love you too, Jack O'Neill," Daniel murmured against Jacks lips. "Let me show how much."

And Daniel did.
