Summary: Jack and Daniel are among a group of friends when they visit Jack's cousin Jeffrey in Chicago
Chuck and Gary had been invited to dinner at Phillip Watters place. Philip was a friend they had met because Gary was always rescuing people and bringing them into the hospital. At first, the team there thought he was just strange at best, but over the years, they accepted him as a psychic or something, since they would never understand the Newspaper idea!
Chuck was sitting at the table, next to Gary. He had his hand on Gary's knee for now, until the next course was served. It felt so good. Everything was still so new for Chuck to get used to; to be invited to a meal by friends, and to be able to be among people who were also in same sex relationships... Chuck quietly glanced around the table as he sipped a glass of red wine... At Phillip's party, the other guests were Phillip's partner, Alan, their colleagues Jeffrey and Aaron, long-term partners, and Jack McNeill and his lover, Bobby Yeats...
Also there, were Jeffrey and Aaron's friends, Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson... Jack was Jeffrey's cousin. Chuck looked at everyone, wandering what their lives, their day jobs were like Did they have a magic cat and a miracle newspaper, or friends in Blue Boxes, that helped them see sense and get together? The whole thing was so surreal, yet still so real, so solid like Gary right now...

As they stood in the hallway, Chuck was so glad that Gary had come looking for him... They stood in the doorway to one of Phillip's rooms, and were glad the house was so big. It was getting hot and heavy between them... It was illicit. It was wonderful – It was another newly discovered joy in their relationship, a milestone they should have got together to enjoy so long ago...

"Thank you, Alan..." Phillip said.
"What for?" Alan smiled and asked, as he was busy tidying the kitchen for a moment.
"For suggesting we do this, and for steering the conversation away from work matters all evening!" Phillip answered.
"It's been a good evening..." Alan replied, and he gave Phillip a quick kiss while they had some privacy...

Aaron and Jeffrey sat in one of Phillip's reception rooms, on a large sofa, facing one another, their legs intermingled, brandy glasses in hand.
"Thank God we don't have to go into work tomorrow..." Aaron stated.
"It was about time we took some time off..." Jeffrey noted. "Kate and co will be all too pleased to prove they can cope without us..!"
Aaron smiled and rested his neck on the cushions behind him while Jeffrey played footsie with him...

"We really shouldn't have done that, should we?" Bobby asked Jack McNeill, as he put his shirt back on, and looked back to Jack on the bed.
"This is our bed for the night..." Jack reasoned. "We're all staying over, in case we want a drink or whatever..."
"Or a fuck!" Bobby teased Jack with a massage.
"Well, seeing as I can't drink because I have to operate tomorrow, I had to find something to do!!" Jack joked in his defence.
"We have to go show our faces again, much as I would like to go again and again!" Bobby noted.
"I think there will be enough hours in the night for us to have some more fun later..!" McNeill pinched Bobby's backside as they moved to leave the room they'd quickly borrowed.

Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson were now sitting in the room with Jeffrey and Aaron. Jeffrey was Jack's cousin, on the Jewish side of his melting pot family... There was definitely a case for the argument that being gay ran in the family, with those two...
Jack poured Daniel another glass of red wine, handing it to him, and sitting beside him, remembering the night before when they'd watched the Baseball on TV, and ended up half naked and utterly satisfied. The very thought made Jack aware that he had to be careful of getting hard again...
"Where are the others?" Jack queried his cousin.
"They've run off..!" Jeffrey noted. "I shall be annoyed if Aaron and I are missing out on their orgy!" He joked.
Jack laughed. He didn't want that sort of thing though... He just wanted Daniel. He would have to be careful he didn't drink too much. It was lucky that he knew his cousin's sense of humour.
"They'll turn up eventually..." Aaron noted. He was not sitting, leaning on his lover.
"We were just talking about you!" Jeffrey noted, raising his glass to those who had just walked in, Chuck and Gary.
"I'm sure you were..!" Chuck grinned, as he and Gary took possession of another of the room's big sofas, of which there were four. He looked at Gary and was just so pleased that the Newspaper seemed to be giving them the evening off!
"Anyone want some snacks" Phllip walked in the room with a large tray of food, followed by Alan with a tray of drinks choices, Alcoholic and non!
"Bring 'em on!" Jack McNeill instructed as he and Bobby walked into the room after another delay.
He and Bobby sat on the floor. God, Jack McNeill loved the view of Bobby Yeats in the Lotus position! He really was obsessed and distracted tonight!
