Summary: Jack realises something, as if he didn't already know it, while at home with Daniel

Jack looked to the stars through his telescope, and remembered the nights when he used to look through it for Abydos, or wonder where, in all the Universes, Ascended Daniel was...

Through the Stargate this week, they had visited a world with the most beautiful star. Jack had been to so many places through the Gate; fragments of rock, mini planets not big enough, by Earth criteria, to be called a Planet, and Planets so massive that the word planet did not seem, frankly, plainly, a big enough word for them! But this star, it was so beautiful, so clear, and the air on the planet orbiting it was so clear, Jack could not forget it...

Daniel's footsteps came into the room, and Jack turned, reaching for the warm coffee Daniel offered him. When he caught a look into Daniel's smiling eyes, Jack saw that star again, and the rush that permeated him entirely, it was oxygen so pure, it was like being on that planet again... At that moment, he realised that he was actually that planet, orbiting a very beautiful star, his dear Daniel...
