My Star

Summary: Jack names a star after Daniel, the man he loves

Daniel opened up the large patio doors, and sat, in the surprisingly warm night air, looking at the sky through the telescope...

"You looking for Daniel?" Jack's voice said gently, rubbing Daniel's shoulders.

Daniel smiled, "Yeah", he said, touching Jack's hand on his shoulder...

They'd been somewhere through the Stargate recently, uninhabited, yet safe... A rare jewel in the sky! When all the tests had been done, all the research teams had checked the place out, one evening, alone in the SGC Briefing Room, Jack had leant across, quietly, and told Daniel, "I've named that star after you..."

It was a secret between them, their love, and the star... But here, at the house, in the darkened Living Room, their own private observatory to the skies, time shared became another private observatory to each other's bodies, and the sweet, salty heat they always created...
