Summary: With talk of First Time being on the cards, Daniel and Jack hope they can make bed related plans to try and help distract Daniel from all his worries

Daniel decided his life was getting a little ridiculous! But then, he figured, it was kinda ludicrous already! In the supermarket, he had, as usual studiously avoided the baby products aisle. It was like he was afraid that, literally, against the odds, if anyone looked at him walking down that aisle, they'd be able to tell he was pregnant, despite the massive pullover and jogging pants he wore...

He sat in the car with Jack, who was driving them home, just pondering it all...

"I think, maybe, if you have a girl, you could call her Claire Danielle or something..!" Jack told Daniel conversationally. "I know you'll say that's a bit arrogant, using your name, but it goes, and, well, nothing will ever get in the way of you and your parents being a family..."

"Not even death..."Daniel mused. "But the thing is, we don't even know who the genetic parents are, do we?" This had concerned Daniel for ages.

Jack frowned.

"It's a fact, Jack. We don't! I'm not even sure if I'm one of the parents! We have to wait to be able to do a safe DNA test!" Daniel furthered.

"I'll be right with you when that test is done..." Jack assured Daniel. "With you all the way..."

"When can we go all the way, Jack??" Daniel asked, not so suddenly. "Not that it isn't impossible now anyway..."

"Daniel, you know you've had a lot to get used to, a lot to deal with... We waited a while for a reason." Jack reasoned.

"I know we did, Jack. But now, I don't know if you want me after all this time, and when the baby's here, we'll have no time... You know that." He pointed out gently.

"I want you, Daniel. That's not a problem!" Jack said.

"What is then?" Daniel wondered. "You?"

"There is no problem, Daniel... Certainly not with you, and not with me, I don't think..!" Jack said.

"When can we then, Jack? It's not as if I'm a virgin... I'm gay, remember... Long-time out of the closet, until working with the Military put me back in it!" Daniel stated.

"It's been a while though, hasn't it?" Jack mused, keeping his eyes on the road. "For both of us!" He paused. "Forgive the cliché, but we're going to have to go gentle... And figure out a position that won't be uncomfortable for you..."

"I have to practice being on my hands and knees anyway, don't I?" Daniel cheekily reminded Jack. "They say it helps when labour hits!"

"They also say sex can bring on labour, Daniel..." Jack didn't know if he was doing right in pointing that out, for his own selfish reasons, and because of Daniel's very understandable fears about the male body (his, specifically!) coping with labour...

"I'm booked in for the Caesarean, Jack... I'm not that far away... If it happens, at least you'll be with me, all the way, like you said..." Daniel said.

"I will be anyway, Daniel..." Jack replied lovingly. He patted Daniel's knee as he moved his hand to change gear.

As Jack put his hand on the gear-knob, Daniel stroked that hand, warm and wonderful as it was. He looked to Jack, dressed in his red and black check shirt as he was, he smiled; he thought of Jack as his 'Lumber-Jack', whenever he wore this shirt. "When we get home, huh!??" He prompted.

Jack smiled, eyes still on the road, "When we get home..!" He agreed, and he knew he would have to try real hard not to speed up, on the roads right now, or with Daniel later on...
